“Jenny gave us peace of mind and took all the hassle out of the process” – Gillian

For the last couple of years, we’ve taken my parents away on holiday - a way to help them regain confidence after the pandemic. This time, we wanted something extra special to mark their diamond wedding anniversary. None of us had ever been to Malta, so we weren’t entirely sure where to start - but then I found Jenny.

From our first conversation, Jenny made everything feel easy. It was my first time ever using a travel consultant, and now I can’t imagine not doing so again. She listened carefully to what we were looking for and took all the hassle and indecision out of the process. From booking the flights and private transfers to selecting the perfect hotel, everything ran smoothly from start to finish.

Jenny suggested the Westin Dragonara in St Julian’s - and it turned out to be the ideal choice. The hotel was fabulous, with friendly and professional staff, two great pools, and an unbeatable location right on the edge of the sea. The food was fantastic, and I think it’s fair to say the breakfast was one of the best we’ve ever had!

Jenny also went above and beyond by contacting the hotel ahead of our arrival to secure accessible rooms for my dad, who has limited mobility. The room we were given was ideal, and it made such a difference to the whole experience.

The trip had so many lovely moments. The hotel surprised Mum and Dad with sparklers and treats during dinner to celebrate their anniversary, and we spent a brilliant day exploring Gozo by hire car. The National War Museum and the Mosta Rotunda were definite highlights - and my 81-year-old mum was very proud to climb all 74 steps to the top of the dome!

Above all, it was the peace of mind that made the difference. Knowing that Jenny and Travel Counsellors were at the end of the phone if anything went wrong gave us so much reassurance.
